Privacy Policy

Qima is a precious-metals-first portfolio and price tracker published by DevLab Technologies. This policy explains, in plain terms, what the app does and does not do with your information.
Qima has no user accounts and no backend that stores your data. We do not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal information about you.
Information we collect
None. There is no sign-up, no login and no profile. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, location or payment details, and the app contains no mechanism to send such information to us.
Your portfolio stays on your device
The holdings, watchlists, base currency and display preferences you enter are written to your device's standard local app storage. They are never uploaded to us or to any third party. Uninstalling the app removes them permanently. Because this data never reaches us, we cannot access, recover or restore it.
Network activity
To show prices, the app makes outbound, read-only requests to public market-data providers for metals, cryptocurrencies, stocks, indices and currency rates. These requests ask for public market prices only. They do not include your holdings, your portfolio value, your identity or any personal information.
As with any internet request, the provider receives your device's IP address and standard connection metadata, and handles it under its own privacy policy. We have no access to those provider logs.
What we do not do
- No analytics, telemetry or crash-reporting SDKs
- No advertising, ad networks or advertising identifiers
- No cross-app or cross-site tracking, and no device fingerprinting
- No third-party marketing, attribution or data-broker SDKs
- No cookies on this website
Children
Qima is a general-audience financial tool and is not directed at children. Because the app collects no data from anyone, no information about a child can be collected through it.
Your rights
Privacy laws including the GDPR and the CCPA give you rights to access, correct, export and delete the personal data a company holds about you. We hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing for us to produce, amend or erase on request. To remove everything Qima has stored, delete the app from your device.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted on this page with an updated date at the top. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
